Marie Flynn is a Cancerian who enjoys long walks and giving people advice when asked. She is a cat person, loves glitter, and plans to move into an Urban Outfitter’s if she wins the lottery. She’s an older sister to a younger brother, and is not afraid to tell you what she thinks. One of her favorite past times is writing, and she loves to read books filled with quotes. She’s a strategic communications major at Oklahoma State University, but is passionate about psychology. She plans to get her master’s degree in counseling and fulfill her life long dream of moving to San Diego, California.
Marie decided to maintain a bachelor’s in strategic communications after realizing she didn’t have to have a degree in psychology to go to graduate school for it. Currently, Marie is volunteering in a psychology lab, and has plans to volunteer at her local domestic abuse center. Last spring, Marie studied abroad in Dijon, France, and visited eleven different countries. Before heading off to graduate school, she would like to join the Peace Corps.
I am an undergraduate student at Oklahoma State University and will receive my bachelor’s in strategic communications fall of 2013. Afterward, I will work towards my master’s in counseling psychology.
I am a member of the psychology club, National Honors Society, The Tremouille Girls Book Club and currently volunteer as a psychology research assistant. I have been employed at Which Wich and worked as a waitress at Hideaway Pizza. I have received a Silver Award in Girl Scouts and a Gold Award in photography, and plan to do much more.
